About Mukilteo
Mukilteo is a city that can be found within Snohomish County, Washington, United States. As of the 2019 census the city was recorded to have a population of 21,441. Despite having a rather small population, the city has quite a rich history with the Old Town Mukilteo being inhabited by the Snohomish people prior to the arrival of American settlers in the 19th century.
Back then the area remained a trading post for loggers and was home to other industries, but was overshadowed by Everett and grew slowly. Coming from a humble beginning of being a small fishing village overlooking scenic Puget Sound, the city is today one of Seattle's affluent picturesque bedroom communities and a favorite weekend destination.
